Day 3: Bluebird

Today's bluebird was fun to paint.

I ended up dividing the process into two parts where I sketched it out in the morning and then painted it early in the afternoon. That worked out well.

Oh yes, and I'm always bad at the bit where I'm supposed to wait for an area to dry before starting the next area. So this time I went for a walk while it was drying and that worked well for me, too!

The book I'm using recommended using cobalt blue, but I don't have any so I used my Prussion blue. I also used Payne's gray, Cadmium yellow and a pale brown, which might have been Umber, but I'm not sure because it was left on my palette from a while ago.

Happy painting!
